Short answer
For a home, a permanent system means never getting on a ladder in December again. It gives you warm-white curb appeal on an ordinary Tuesday and full colour whenever you want it, from one install that stays invisible during the day.
Why would I want this if I only decorate at Christmas?
Because most people find they use it far more than they expected. The system does not know it is December. Once it is up, the everyday warm-white setting becomes the reason you like coming home at night, and the colour is there for birthdays, the Fourth of July, Halloween and a game on a Saturday. You paid for the install once and it earns its keep the other eleven months.
How long does a home install take?
Usually a single day for a typical Magic Valley home, though a large or complex roofline can run longer. We design the runs first, so the fitting day is fitting rather than figuring out.
Do I need to be home for the install?
Not for all of it, but we like to hand the app over in person at the end and walk you through the scheduling so you are not learning it from a PDF a week later.
What about my HOA?
Permanent systems generally sit well with HOAs precisely because they are invisible in daylight and can be set to a tasteful warm white by default. If your HOA has specific rules, tell us at the quote stage and we will design to them.

Does it add value to the house?
It is a permanent architectural improvement rather than a seasonal decoration, and it is one of the few upgrades that changes how the house reads from the street after dark.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes — colours, brightness, schedules and scenes, from an app on your phone.
Will it look tacky the rest of the year?
Set to warm white it reads as architectural lighting, not decoration. The colour is opt-in, not the default.
What if I move house?
The system is fitted to the building, so it stays with the property — it becomes part of what you are selling.
How much electricity does it use?
It is LED, so running it is a small fraction of what an equivalent run of traditional bulbs would draw.
