Permanent security lighting
Short answer
Used as security lighting, a permanent system keeps the exterior of a property consistently lit on a schedule, removing the dark corners around doors, drives and parking without relying on anyone to switch anything on.
How does permanent lighting help with security?
Consistency. A property that is reliably lit every night, at the same time, without gaps around the entrances and side approaches, is a far less appealing target than one lit by a motion floodlight that fires after someone is already at the door. Because it runs on a schedule, it does not depend on anyone being home or remembering.
Is it better than a motion-sensor floodlight?
It does a different job, and the two work well together. A floodlight reacts; permanent lighting removes the darkness a person would have approached through in the first place. If you already have motion lighting, this complements it rather than replacing it.
Can it run while we are away?
That is one of the more useful cases. Schedules run whether or not anyone is home, so a property does not advertise an empty house by going dark for a week.

Can I change the schedule while I am away?
Yes — the app works wherever you are, so you can adjust it from another state.
Will it light the whole property?
It lights what the track covers, which is usually the rooflines and eaves. Where the dark spots are is part of the design conversation.
Does it work with cameras?
Better light generally means more usable footage, particularly in colour, though we would not claim to specify your camera system for you.
What happens in a power cut?
It is mains powered, so it is off until the power is back — the same as the rest of the building.
